India Music fest is going to be a one of its kind interactive music festival happening in central India for the first time.
We want to promote independent and contemporary musicians in our city and explore the possibilities we can unlock through music!
At India Music fest you can attend workshops ranging from songwriting, live looping to music production, and also listen to artists talk about Hindustani classical, Sufi Music, Instrument making, and more.
Get to know their journey from inception to today and what they became, for you to know them closely and understand their secrets of success!
The 'India Music Fest' (IMF)
will be held on the
14th and 15th of January 2023.
at Makersadda,
Alagangle community art centre which is situated on a beautiful hill of Hajaripahad, behind Sandipani school and beside St. John Paul II church, Nagpur.
Avanti Patel is a versatile artist based out of Mumbai and Bangalore.
A Hindustani classical
vocalist, playback singer, composer, and innovator.
Among her most recent projects is O Gaanewali, a show based on the lives and music of Tawaifs
and Women performers in India. Meet her at India Music fest 2023.
A singer, songwriter, and boundary breaker Vasuda Sharma reimagines genre,
gender, feminism, Indian music, and the very definition of an artist. She has consistently shifted perspectives on stage as a

Kavish Seth is an Indian poet, singer, songwriter, and inventor. Kavish created his musical instrument called Noori.
He has conceptualized Zubaan, a music project that aims to create platforms for collaboration between independent music artists from different corners of India. Meet Kavish at India Music fest 2023.
Karthik Sekaran is a multi-instrumentalist, a music producer, and a vocal coach.

Gaurav is a trained Sufi Singer, having learned from coke studio fame senior guru Ustad Munawwar Masoom.
Presently, Gaurav is a playback singer for Bollywood, and Marathi movies, Web series, Television shows, Advertising jingles, and Stage shows. Meet Gaurav at central India's 1st interactive music festival.
Samruddha R K is a talented musician with training in Classical Music and expertise in multiple instruments. He has extensive
experience in Music Production, Composition & Vocal Production, with a deep understanding of music theory. Meet him at India Music fest 2023.
Baithak is a space where musicians meet, jam, and create music. Be it an Indian classical baithak or a rock jam session,
we have a lot of fun together! Whether you are a professional or an amateur musician who would like to share your music and collaborate with like-minded artists, you are invited!!
Baithak is organized every Sunday at Makersadda, Alagangle community art center, Hajaripahad, Nagpur.
